MARSFEST (Martian Arctic Research Science Field Experience for Secondary Teachers) ambassadors are a select group of teachers from the US and Canada that trained alongside mission personnel during the summer of 2006 in Fairbanks, Alaska to study permafrost, past Mars missions, and the Phoenix mission. As Phoenix mission ambassadors they bring current mission information into classrooms, teacher professional development settings, public events, and informal education venues. Below is a list of current ambassadors. To contact someone on the list for resources or to participate in a local event, please contact the MARSFEST coordinator Sanlyn Buxner.
